The launch of the Machanic is Uniblue’s first attempt to introduce a new innovating product in the growing market of mac utility software solutions.
Uniblue is mostly known for developing utility software for Windows systems and has over the years build op a reputable reputation. The SpeedUpMyPC is one of their core products for the optimization of Windows systems. It’s full of innovating technology and has received many awards. Can we say the same of the Machanic? Could this new Uniblue mac cleaner compete with a classical mac cleaner like the CleanMyMac 2 of MacPaw or the famous MacKeeper?

It is difficult to compare the Machanic with the MacKeeper or the new Macbooster for that matter. The Machanic is a classical mac cleaner and so is the CleanMyMac 2. Both cleaners do not not have mac antivirus software embedded. MACHANIC REVIEW CONCLUSION
The above overview indicates that the CleanMyMac 2 is a more complete mac cleaner. According to me it is the best mac cleaner if you do not wish to provide your mac with an extra internet security layer. If you want to invest in a complete internet security solution for your mac, you should opt for the Mackeeper which includes all the above mentioned features in one beautiful product. The Machanic is still in its infancy and misses tools. The product description is very vague and it is not always clear what exactly is being optimized or cleaned up. Therefore I would not spend time on the Machanic, but evaluate the CleanMyMac 2 in stead if you are looking for a more acclaimed mac cleaner.
